DC Carpentry & Construction
DC Carpentry & Construction are a family-run building company in Chorley, run by Natasha and Dale: extensions, structural work, kitchens and bespoke carpentry across Lancashire. Their old website had gone live before it was finished. We rebuilt it from scratch around Natasha's own words: 40 pages, their projects told stage by stage in their own photos, a page for each of the 20 towns they work in, and a quote form that finally goes somewhere.

The challenge.
The old site had been switched on half built. When we reviewed it, 7 of its 11 pages were blank between the header and the footer, including the Contact page the Request a Quote button pointed at.
The menu only worked from the homepage, Portfolio linked to nothing at all, and the address on every page put Chorley in Greater Knowsley, which is in Merseyside.
Natasha had already written what she wanted to say about every service, and listed eight jobs she wanted to show from start to finish. None of it had a home.
Someone about to let a builder knock through a wall wants proof the team has done it before, and the old Portfolio page was empty.
Our approach.
Rebuilt from scratch around Natasha's brief. Her copy for every service, the about page and why people choose them went in as she wrote it.
The one decision: show the whole build. The projects open on a before and an after, then play out stage by stage in their own photos, from the groundworks to the finish. A Chorley pub turned into 20 apartments. A house extended on three sides, 11 photos in order.
A page for each of the 20 towns they work in, from Leyland and Preston to Clitheroe and Whalley, each with the local planning to match and work like the job you have in mind.
A quote form that asks the right questions: where the house is, what the job is and when they want to start, with photos and plans attached. Every enquiry lands in their inbox and a copy is kept on the website.
Ten reviews from homeowners across Lancashire on a page of their own, in their own words.
Their logo redrawn properly off Natasha's DC door symbol, and the site set in the colours of her letterhead, the look they are taking onto their signage and business cards.
Built as a custom WordPress plugin with a locked editor, no page builder, so the words and photos can change without touching the design.
Moved to a new address without losing anything. Every old dcchorley.co.uk page forwards to its new page, and Search Console, Analytics and enquiry tracking were set up for launch.

Their work,stage by stage.
Project stories that open on the before, service pages in Natasha's own words, and a page for every town they work in.

Proof first,then the quote.
Everything the house needs from one team, the case for extending rather than moving, the whole build behind every project, a stage opened with its photos, the towns they cover and a form that asks the right questions.

Really phenomenal work. It takes a lot to impress me given my past life in creative.

Harcon Solutions
Harcon Solutions are a specialist consultancy for construction, engineering and the railway, trading since 2017 with over 50 years of combined experience between them. Their old WordPress site looked the part but made people work to get in touch. We rebuilt it from scratch on their own look: 24 pages, Railway Asset Protection first, an enquiry form on every service page, and every old link still landing in the right place.
SBS Building & Damp Proofing
Richard Wright runs a family damp proofing and building firm in Sheffield, with over 25 years in damp proofing and 9.98 out of 10 on Checkatrade from 150 reviews. The old website stopped scrolling halfway down the page, so most visitors never reached the phone number. We rebuilt it from scratch: fifteen pages, damp surveys first, their own photos and their customers' own words.
PrimeCore Coaching
Pete Aspinall coaches men in their 30s and 40s online, after a professional rugby league career. We'd already done the PrimeCore rebrand and the weekly carousels. The Instagram was working, but the people it sent had nowhere to land except a booking link. We built one page to catch them: who it's for, the proof, how it works, then a call or an application.
