Purefactor Formulations
Purefactor make clinically dosed supplements in the USA: 23 single-purpose formulations, each built around one system in the body. We already looked after their social graphics. Their shop ran on a bought-in Shopify theme that was never finished, so we designed and built them a custom one from scratch, dark and glowing, and organised around the systems their products are made for.
Client
Thechallenge.
The bought-in theme had never been finished. The all products page still showed its demo artwork, handbags and sunglasses, and a fade effect left product photos stuck almost invisible.
The homepage reviews were pictures of text, so Google couldn't read a word of them. The big link across the hero went nowhere.
Twenty-three products with names like GI Factor and Estro Factor. A new customer needs telling what each one is for, and which ones go together.
It had to keep everything the shop already relied on: the wholesale and ambassador forms, the chat and the popup.
Ourapproach.
Designed around their own labels: the cyan, the pink of the V2 script, Orbitron for headings and Poppins, their brand font, for everything else.
Shop by system. Gut and digestion, hormone balance, stress and sleep, immune, and training and recovery, each with a page of its own and products picked for it.
A stack builder on the homepage: every formulation in one carousel. Tick what you want, watch the total change, pick your EAA flavour, and the whole stack goes into the cart in one go.
Every bottle cut out of its product photo so it sits on the dark design. Product pages show their own bottle with the key ingredients called out, pulled from Purefactor's own product data.
The Supplement Facts label is one tap away on every product, and opens full screen at a size you can actually read.
Their customers' reviews written out as real text, each one credited with the product.
A mega menu, search that shows products as you type, and a cart that slides open with a bar counting down to free shipping.
28 sections built from scratch, no page builder, and 179 settings they can change themselves in the Shopify editor. The FDA disclaimer is a setting too, printed on every page.
Built on an unpublished copy and published with the old theme kept as a one-click rollback. The wholesale and ambassador forms and the chat carried on working, and the popup was restyled to match.
